Come to Capitol Hill

Our main offices are located in the heart of the nation’s capital just one block from the White House. We are here for a reason and that is to talk to our elected leaders and public health officials to let them know that lung cancer deserves increased attention, research funding and early detection—just like every other major cancer.

We go to Capitol Hill many times a week and meet with Congressional staff and often times, the Members of Congress themselves. We talk about lung cancer statistics and the lack of research funding. Then we ask them to help do something about it by supporting the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act. Our visits lay the groundwork and set up the case for lung cancer. You are the next and most critical piece in all of this.

Your elected leaders want to hear from you! If you are ever in or around the Washington, DC area, please let us know. If you can set aside, just a few hours, we can take you to Capitol Hill to the offices of your Senators and Representative. Sharing your story will make a huge difference and being on Capitol Hill may just inspire you as well.
