LCA Board Member, Deborah Morosini, MD to Speak at Boston Health Expo
LCA Board Member, Deborah Morosini, MD will be a speaker at the 3rd Annual Health and Fitness Expo in Boston, MA this weekend. Hosted by NBC 7 News, CW 56 and Partners Healthcare, the Expo aims to promote overall good health and to educate the public on prevention, detection and treatment of various diseases. Dr. Morosini will be speaking on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 4:30pm following an interview with NBC 7 News. Other speakers include Boston Celtic Ray Allen, New England Patriot Tedy Bruschi and NBC News’ Chief Environmental Affairs Correspondent, Anne Thompson.
LCA-MA will also be exhibiting at the Expo which is expected to draw over 70,000 people during the two day exhibit. The Expo is free to the public. For more information about speakers and exhibitors, visit the Expo website.

Join survivors, family members, medical professionals and local media at the 3rd Annual Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Candlelight Vigil to honor the entire Massachusetts lung cancer community. Hosted by LCA-MA, this event drew over 300 people in 2008 and we are hoping to double it this year! Stay tuned for more information.

Come out for this 5K run and 3K walk in honor of Lisa Boivin, organizer Diane LeBlanc's sister. For the third year in a row Diane is bringing together lung cancer survivors, family members and friends to run and walk for lung cancer awareness. Lisa's Run/Walk honors all of those touched by the disease. Proceeds from the event are donated to help further LCA's mission. Come out and support the cause.
