- Lung Cancer Basics
March 6, 2008--On the second anniversary of Dana Reeve’s passing, Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA) would like to extend its heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Dana Reeve. Her beauty, grace, and spirit will remain indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Her compassion and support for those faced with adversity will continue to be a hallmark of her legacy. While we mourn her loss -- so too should we embrace hope. For Dana’s sister, Deborah Morosini, MD, and hundreds of others have committed to helping carry Dana’s wish forward – her wish that lung cancer be given the compassion and support it rightly deserves. Thank you Dana for all you have inspired. Thank you, Deborah for all of your unwavering efforts on behalf of the lung cancer community. And thank you to all of you who have joined in this battle to improve outcomes for those impacted by this disease. No one deserves lung cancer and better days are yet to come.
